Pitch Coke is a solid carbon material obtained by coking coal pitch. It is a kind of high quality coke with low sulfur and low ash, also a kind of easily graphite carbon.The asphaltic coke structure is compact, the particle mechanical strength and wear resistance are high,It is beneficial to improve the mechanical strength and reduce ash content of the product by adding bituminous coke in the formulation of carbon materials. When using a tank type furnace for high volatile oil coke, a part of asphalt coke can be used to alleviate the phenomenon of coking and blocking. After adding asphaltic coke, the product has higher resistivity, larger linear expansion coefficient and less lubrication, but the mechanical strength and wear resistance of the product are good.
1. It is mainly used for prebaked anode and cathode for electrolytic aluminium.
2. Raw material of producing of graphite electrode, electric carbon products and high-density and high- strength graphite.
